While the idea of an Alaska modular home might seem, .if not completely ridiculous, at least comical, the Alaska modular home proved its worth as far back as the 1970s when it was used to house the workers who were constructing British Petroleum’s oil pipeline on Alaska’s violently stormy North Coast.
